TimeBank
Christopher Ward
The App
This app was built to get Gen Z more aware of how they spend their time. Gen Z spends on average 4 hours a day on their phones, and "doom scrolling" is becoming a problem within this generation. This app aims to tackle this problem by showing users how they positively spend their time to make them feel happy about what they are doing and how they are experiencing life.
Login to the app, review your previous memories and and your "spent time"
Features include:
Viewing your previous transactions, how you have spent your time
Planning your future spending, so you can productively spend your future time
Add events you've done, add who you spent time with and rate your time spent
Overview
The brief was all about getting Gen Z interested in their time, and so my idea makes users more aware of their time. The problem of doomscrolling allows users to spend their time and not even realise how long they have spent doing something.
Time bank allows users to review their time and share it with others to feel accomplished and positive about their time.
Approach
My approach towards this project was to research Gen Z and the brand Christopher Ward and find what links them.
Christopher Ward is very interested in doing their research and spending time for good. Gen Z is known for being a very sustainable generation, and this app links these values together. With the sustainability of spending time positively and for good.
